Antarctica hasn't always been a place of peace and cooperation. Since 1908 seven nations have made formal claims to parts of Antarctica.
The Wanderer dance
Wandering albatrosses have the largest wingspan of any bird on the planet and make their home around the Southern Ocean that surrounds Antarctica. They pair for life and perform an elaborate ‘dance’ when reunited each year in their breeding grounds.
